  • New Global Referral Network Connects Agents Around the World November 13, 2009

The Global Referral Network officially launched yesterday at the National Association of Realtors Conference and Expo in San Diego, creating the largest referral network in the world.
The Global Referral Network, which already includes more than 500,000 agents, fundamentally changes the way agents do business across borders. Referral partners are found using map search, with results filtered by professional designation, franchise brand, specialty or language spoken.

  • New Deal Allows U.S. Realtors to Help Sell French Real Estate August 5, 2009

In a first-of-its-kind deal underscoring the growth of the international real estate industry, the Federation Nationale de l'Immobilier (FNAIM), the French association of real estate professionals, has contracted with Immobel, the leading provider of international real estate technology and cross language marketing services, to translate all French real estate listings into English and make them available for U.S. Realtors(R) to market on their own websites.

  • US Property Portals Go Multi-lingual To Boost Sales, July 18, 2008

An increasing number of US portals are ‘internationalising’ their content by adding new languages to their website to appeal to as many international buyer markets as possible. The latest example of this trend is Florida-based Prudential Palms Realty (PPR), which recently launched an international division in April with the specific goal of attracting non-national investors into the country to shift the thousands of excess properties in the state. As part of this effort, PPR has updated its different sites into 12 different languages covering the majority of the world’s most active buyer markets.

  • 13 Language Real Estate Listings to be available in Washington DC Area, May 11, 2006

Real estate agents in the Greater Washington, DC/ Baltimore Metropolitan area now have the option to display their property listing information via the Internet in 13 languages. “We saw the need to make the option of language translation technology available to our 58,000 customers, given their widely diverse client base,” said Jeff Jennings, MRIS manager of Business Development and Product Management, announcing the contract with Immobel.
